Hurling: Cork thrash Derry in League

Cork easily defeated Derry in Division 1B of the National Hurling League, with a score of 1-24 to 1-12.

In Division 2A, Down defeated Kildare while in Division 2B, Carlow overcame London in Ruislip.

In Division 3, Longford and Louth earned valuable wins and in Division 4, Monaghan beat Cavan and Mayo won against Leitrim.
