GAA: Na Fianna centre of Leinster Club final row

Dublin champions, Na Fianna, will have to wait until Tuesday night before they learn whether they can take their place in the Leinster Club Senior Football final.

Mick Galvin’s team defeated Sarsfields 3-11 to 1-8 in yesterday’s semi-final replay at Navan, but learned later that they had fielded six subs.

GAA regulations stipulate that five is the maximum any team can use and the matter will now go before the Leinster Council for review.

Normal procedure would mean immediate disqualification from the Championship.
