GAA: Carr sacked from Dublin job

Dublin's football manager Tommy Carr has been sacked by the Dublin GAA council.

The vote went down to the wire, 92 votes were cast with 46 for sacking Carr and 46 for keeping him on.

The meeting was reconvened after ten minutes when Dublin Football's chairman, John Bailey, lodged his casting vote which ousted Tommy Carr.
