GAA: O'Meara suspended for four weeks
The GAA’s Games Administration Committee has suspended Tipperary hurler Brian O’Meara for four weeks, meaning he will miss the All-Ireland final against Galway next month.
O’Meara was sent off along with Wexford’s Liam Dunne following a tussle in the semi-final earlier this month.
Most observers felt the red cards were unfair as the two players were merely squaring up to each other and had no intention of causing injury.
