GAA: O'Sé gets four-week suspension

Kerry's Tomás O'Sé will play no part in the champion's semi-final clash against Meath after being handed a four-week suspension.

The Games Administration Committee handed down the suspension today.

O'Sé, a nephew of Kerry manager Páidí, was sent off for taking down Colin Moran in the quarter-final replay against Dublin on August 11.

His suspension applies from that date, meaning he will miss the semi-final, but would feature in the final should Kerry overcome Meath.

Tyrone's Peter Canavan also received a four-week suspension for being dismissed in the game against Derry on August 5.
