GAA: Three debutants line out for Galway
Three Championship debutants will line out for Galway in Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Quarter-Final against Derry at Croke Park.
Right half-back Derek Hardiman, centre-fielder Richie Murray and left corner-forward Darren Shaughnessy are the new men.
In all, there are ten survivors from the side hammered by Kilkenny in last year's All-Ireland Semi-Final.
Galway manager Noel Lane will be without the Gantley brothers - Rory and Finbarr.
Rory broke his wrist in the National Hurling League battle with Clare and is out for the year, while Finbarr has knee cartilage trouble.
Rory's absence at midfield has opened the door for Murray's debut.
The regulars are all there - Rabbitte, Broderick, Cloonan and dual star Alan Kerins.
Limerick hurler Ollie Moran and Roscommon footballer Francie Grehan are the GPA Players of the Month for June.
Grehan inspired his county to Connacht glory, while Moran has played a key role for one of the surprise outfits of the season.
Galway Team: M Crimmins, G Kennedy, M Healy, O Canning, D Hardiman, L Hodgins, C Moore, D Tierney, R Murray, J Rabbitte, M Kerins, K Broderick, A Kerins, E Cloonan, D Shaughnessy.
