GAA: Semple Stadium to get £2m face-lift

The Semple Stadium management committee are embarking on a £2m refurbishment programme which will confirm the Thurles GAA venue as the finest outside Croke Park.

Included in the programme of the development will be the complete covering of Ardán Uí Riain - at present it is partially covered - and enhanced safety measures.
