London out of league as GAA sets resumption date

The GAA's Games Administration Committee has released details of its revised fixture calendar in the wake of the foot-and-mouth crisis.

The All-Ireland club hurling semi-final replay between Graigue-Ballycallan and Sixmilebridge will now take place on March 31, and both club finals have been marked in for April 16.

The resumption of the Allianz National Hurling League is also set for April 1.

However, because of the situation in Britain, the GAC decided that London cannot participate any further in either football or hurling leagues this year.

Previous league points accrued in games involving London will now be discarded and scores will be discounted.
