Kildare manager fumes over Doyle’s gumshield dismissal

Donegal 1-16 Kildare 3-7: Donegal’s poorest performance of Division 1 this term was still enough to post a first win, at Kildare’s expense.

Declan Bonner, the Donegal manager, agreed.

“Of the four games we played, that was probably the poorest we played, and in the other three matches, we didn’t get any points,” he said. “But that’s just the way football goes, at times.”
