Make hay while the sun shines, declares Cathal King

Cathal King, one of four Na Piarsaigh hurlers to have started each of their Munster club final wins, knows there is a bump in the road ahead.

There’ll come a day when their unbeaten provincial record is taken from them and Munster titles aren’t collected with such regularity.

For now, the priority of the Caherdavin men is to capitalise on the spread of talent the club is home to. Just consider that Adrian Breen, top-scorer in Sunday’s Munster decider with 1-5 from play, is not among the 10 Na Piarsaigh players included in the 2018 Limerick senior panel.
