Imokilly grab late equaliser to ensure they meet Sarsfields again

Imokilly 1-24 Sarsfields 2-21: Paudie O’Sullivan’s 64^th-minute equaliser for Imokilly ensured that the East Cork division and Sarsfields must meet again to determine Blackrock’s opponents in the Cork SHC final.

At Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday, Imokilly only trailed after Jack O’Connor opened the scoring for Sars in the first minute and then in injury time, but O’Sullivan was on hand to level once more and force the replay.

For much of the game, Imokilly looked like the better side. Cian Fleming’s goal on nine minutes made it 1-3 to 0-2 and the lead had extended to 1-6 to 0-3 by the 15^thminute before Sars replied with an unanswered 1-3, the goal coming from O’Connor, moments after he had the post.
