Niall Moyna: Counties ‘running players into the ground’

DCU’s Niall Moyna has told inter-county managers to stop the blame culture and take a hard look in the mirror, accusing them of “running players into the ground”.

Some bosses have questioned the colleges’ continued participation in the January inter-county competitions, but Moyna supports their inclusion — in order to protect players from their county managers.

“The reason I like the colleges being in those competitions is that we can control the workload and look after players.
