With centre-back James Loughrey suspended, he is indirectly replaced by Kelly, who comes into the half-forward line with Kevin O’Driscoll dropping back to left half-back, from which his brother Brian slots across number 6. In the full-back line, Cronin takes the place of Noel Galvin while Colm O’Neill and Daniel Goulding swap places again, Goulding having come in for the Ballyclough man after the win over Limerick.
Hurlers Alan Cadogan and Aidan Walsh are on the bench for the first time since joining the panel, while Niall Coakley of Dublin’s St Jude’s — formerly Carrigaline — is also named. Donegal select the same team which began the Ulster final against Tyrone.
