After McKiernan’s side made the breakthrough in 2011, beating Sunday’s opponents Tyrone in the final, Cavan ruled the U21 grade in Ulster for four years.

Throw a 2011 Ulster minor title into the mix, and Cavan’s young guns should have enough ammunition to be flourishing at senior level.
