Dungourney cruise past Douglas but shooting a concern

Dungourney 1-17 Douglas 1-6: Dungourney produced an impressive Cork IHC winning performance at Caherlag on Saturday when they easily accounted for Douglas’ second-string.

It could have been a much greater victory as the east Cork outfit cruised effortlessly onto an encounter against Aghabullogue. An 11 points margin was impressive but the Dungourney mentors will have plenty of work on in the coming weeks with their talented side racking up 11 wides in each half.

Manager Brian Ronayne was frustrated by such poor finishing and also at the late sending off of John Ronayne.
