Pádraic Maher: ‘It’s great to keep ticking over’

Pádraic Maher admitted their narrow defeats in the league this year were a motivating factor in beating Cork in Thurles yesterday.

Tipperary came up just short against Kilkenny and Waterford before another close-run thing in going down to Clare in their quarter-final.

“But, like, the league campaign, a couple of games we felt we should have won them,” said Maher.
