Eamonn Fitzmaurice backs Paul Murphy to shine against Donegal

Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has backed Paul Murphy to shine again at centre-forward, though he accepts that tomorrow’s Allianz FL Division 1 clash with Donegal in Tralee will represent a different challenge for the Rathmore man than Down did last week.

Murphy was an All Star corner-back in 2014 but is again named at number 11 for tomorrow’s game.

“I thought he played very well,” Fitzmaurice said, “it was exciting for us, it was exciting for the team, and it was exciting for himself. It was something new and it gave him and us a different look.”
