Linda Bolger stars in Wexford victory

Wexford got their league campaign off to a winning start, with a 0-13 to 0-9 victory over Tipperary at Cloughjordan.

Fresh from her scoring heroics in Cork IT’s Purcell Cup title win, Linda Bolger was the key contributor with five points for the winners.

Wexford fell behind early on but moved three clear with a run of four points on the trot, and were 0-9 to 0-4 clear at half-time.
