Barry O’Driscoll to miss end of season due to ankle injury

O’Driscoll, who has not kicked a football since Nemo Rangers’ Munster Club final defeat to Clonmel Commercials , is to undergo surgery in the coming weeks to repair the damage to his ankle.
A recent scan highlighted a fracture in his ankle and having seen a specialist on Wednesday, it was decided surgery was the best course of action, almost certain to keep the wing-back out of Cork’s remaining league fixtures.
