Na Piarsaigh will rule Munster, predicts Tom Ryan

Limerick managerial legend Tom Ryan has strongly tipped Na Piarsaigh to win not just Sunday’s AIB Munster Club hurling final but to end the county’s long wait for an All-Ireland title success. No Limerick club has won the All-Ireland with Ryan himself guiding his native Ballybrown to an agonising three-point loss in the 1990 final.

More recently, Treaty county champions Kilmallock reached the All-Ireland decider last march but, like Ballybrown, were also beaten by Ballyhale Shamrocks.

Ryan, who guided Limerick to All-Ireland finals in 1994 and 1996, fully believes Na Piarsaigh are about to end that long losing streak.
