Kerins O’Rahilly’s show no mercy to East Kerry

Kerins O’Rahilly’s 4-19 East Kerry 2-8: Kerins O’Rahilly’s served notice of their Kerry SFC title aspirations with this clinical victory over a disappointing East Kerry outfit at Strand Road on Saturday evening.

Kerins O’Rahilly’s show no mercy to East Kerry

O’Rahilly’s win is all the more meritorious, given the fact that two of their Kerry players carried injuries into the game, David Moran (back) and Barry John Keane (ankle) and both were called ashore in the second half.

East Kerry looked the better side in the opening quarter, when they led 1-2 to 0-3. This was thanks to a superb 10th minute goal from wing-back, Shane Cronin, who collected a pass from Andrew Garnett, before embarking on a 50-yard run and a sublime finish.
