Tipp’s Seamus Callanan still recovering after shuddering Hanbury tackle

Tipperary star Seamus Callanan is still suffering aches and pains following John Hanbury’s controversial foul on him in last month’s All-Ireland semi-final.

Over four weeks after Galway’s win, in which Hanbury dangerously brought down Callanan for a second-half penalty, the 26-year-old is still receiving physio treatment on the affected area.

Callanan admits he may have suffered mild concussion in the process and is still getting neck pains and headaches after the clash.
