In-form Cork duo Kevin O’Neill and Darren O’Driscoll earn final call-ups
Manager Ronan Dwane has handed starting berths to Kevin O’Neill and Darren O’Driscoll at midfield and left-corner-forward, respectively, with U21 pair Martin Brennan and Luke Meade dropping to the bench for the Gaelic Grounds clash (throw-in 7pm).
Watergrasshill’s O’Neill was introduced for Brennan at half-time in the Munster final win over Limerick last month, while O’Driscoll was called up to the panel in recent weeks - he hit 0-3 in Carrigtwohill’s Cork SHC round 4 win over Ballymartle on Saturday night.
“Both players are in good form at present and have worked their way onto the team,” said Dwane.
There is one positional switch with Tony Murphy selected at left-half- forward and Noel McNamara moving into the corner.
