Westmeath hurlers look to use feelgood factor

Westmeath hurling manager Michael Ryan is hopeful that the feelgood factor created by the footballers’ historic win over Meath can lead to his men creating a big shock on Sunday.

The county is on a high since the win on Sunday and Ryan is hoping this rubs off on his charges as they prepare to host Limerick in Mullingar.

Former Waterford manager Ryan was blown away by the performance of Tom Cribbin’s footballers in Croke Park to reach the provincial final.
