Captain Stephen Molumphy, once by honour of his county, now by rank of his occupation, tells a story. One that amuses him just as it swells him with pride. "The captain of Lismore is Philip O'Keeffe, a private. The captain of Cappoquin is Keith Landers, a trooper, and I'm the captain of Ballyduff. So in two towns and a village in west Waterford the captains are all army men."
