Lar Corbett evades Tipperary retirement question

The 2010 Hurler of the Year has returned to the Tipperary camp ahead of their Munster semi-final clash against either Clare or Limerick on June 21, having missed the entire league campaign with a knee complaint.

“I’m definitely not going to comment on saying it’s going to be my last season or that it’s my last hour or maybe that I had my last hour,” the 34-year-old told Tipp FM yesterday.

“I see the likes of these young lads coming; it gives me a warm feeling that Tipperary is in a good place and I’d only love to hand it over to these lads because these lads are coming, and they’re coming like a train.

“I’m here to offer and to give, and if I can help any of these lads in any way I will. It’s all about Tipperary hurling.”
