Lar Corbett unlikely to line out with Tipperary

Former Hurler of the Year Lar Corbett has cast major doubts on his summer championship participation.

The Thurles Sarsfields forward, who turned 34 yesterday, is struggling with a knee complaint and admits that he doesn’t know if he will feature this year.

Corbett confirmed: “The knee has been an ongoing problem. I honestly don’t know one way or another. I’m doing a bit of work myself – that’s just the way it is. I’ll have to see how it is over the next month. I’ll know then.”
