Spectator role not for Larkin

Eoin Larkin will be on the sideline for a couple of weeks. Here’s a tip: don’t be in a rush to sit next to him at a game.

“It will be frustrating,” said the Kilkenny star. “It wouldn’t be one of my strong points, sitting down and having to watch things. I don’t enjoy it one bit. A bit of nerves and frustration. I don’t make for a good spectator.”

Former Meath football Gerry McEntee carried out groin surgery on Larkin recently.
