GAA plan to couple sponsorship opportunities

As part of their strategic plan 2015-17, the organisation want to work with a number of smaller counties “to explore the merits of offering a shared opportunity to potential partners”.

A pilot scheme will be established whereby two or three counties will benefit from a group arrangement, which might see them all wearing the same sponsor on their jerseys. Roscommon and Down are two of a number of counties which have experienced difficulties attracting financial backers in recent years.
