Galway hold Leitrim rally

Galway 0-13 Leitrim 1-09: Galway held off a late Leitrim challenge to claim a second FBD League win at Mohill.

Led by Gary O’Donnell and Shane Walsh, the Tribesmen claimed a 0-9 to 0-4 interval advantage. After the restart Walsh missed a penalty but his side still led by five points with 13 minutes left.

Then Leitrim rallied following an Alan McLoughlin goal and reduced the deficit to the minimum with points from Ronan Reynolds and Kevin Conlan.
