Level at half-time, once the Killeagh player broke through for his second goal after the restart, they powered home.
Wind assisted Millstreet were well in contention in the first half with Thomas Walsh in fine form, striking six points, ably assisted by Darren Kiely. This was despite conceding an early goal to Mark Motherway and another from Kearney. The teams went to the dressing-room tied 0-11 to 2-5.
St Colman’s CC hit 2-6 after the break, restricting Millstreet to one pointed free. Sub PJ Fitzgerald sealed the win, his goal arriving within a minute of coming on.
