The Fingal Ravens club man was only reappointed for another year in the position at Monday night’s annual convention.

Kettle, who was also the county’s Central Council delegate, succeeded Gerry Harrington as chairman in 2010. In Kettle’s tenure, Dublin claimed two All-Ireland SFC titles, two of their four U21 FCs, a minor football championship as well as historic Leinster and National League SHC crowns.

Meanwhile, acting Leinster Council chief executive Michael Reynolds was last night confirmed as permanent successor to Michael Delaney in the chief executive role.
