Football first for Cadogan despite Armagh link

Eoin Cadogan will take his first steps into coaching when he links up with the Armagh hurlers next season — despite yesterday committing to Cork’s footballers in 2015.

The 28-year-old has agreed to assist manager John Lennon and will combine the duties while lining out for Brian Cuthbert’s side.

Cuthbert responded to yesterday’s news: “I am delighted to have Eoin on board for 2015. Preparations are under way for the year ahead, and we look forward to returning to competitive action.”
