McGee relief as Donegal take road to Croker

The Gaoth Dobhair man has challenged his phobia in the past, with the county flying down to Cork twice for league games in the last seven years. McGee describes it as “kinda like Dennis Bergkamp” and if they had to go on a plane he would “get big Neil (McGee, his brother) to knock me out before we leave!”

County secretary Aodh Mairtin O Fearraigh said: “We’ll go by bus on Friday. Eamon has that fear but that’s not the reason. I don’t think fear of flying would stop him getting on a plane for an All-Ireland final.”
