Evans extends Roscommon stay until 2015

John Evans is staying in charge of Roscommon footballers for 2015, after agreeing to extend his term after two years in charge.

The Kerry native, who travels from Killorglin for training and matches, sought time to consider his future, after their championship exit to Armagh in July.

But the former Tipperary manager, who guided the Rossies to 10 wins in 13 competitive outings in 2014, has committed for next season and his reappointment has been rubber-stamped by Roscommon.
