Dublin and the rest of the country underestimated us, says Reid
Reid, one of the team’s physios and a member, like Jim McGuinness, of the victorious 1992 All-Ireland winning panel, claimed Donegal had been the far superior team going into the game.
“The better team won on the day,” he told RTÉ Radio One. “Our tactics were better, our technical ability was better. We had the better players. I think Dublin underestimated us. I think the rest of the country underestimated us. It’s great to see a master tactician in Jim McGuinness get the rewards.”
