Carrickmore reach final

Carrickmore qualified for a second successive Tyrone SFC final with a 2-7 to 0-11 win over Ardboe at Pomeroy last night.

A two-point win in a tense contest earned them a meeting with Omagh in the final, a repeat of the 2005 decider.

Carrickmore grabbed a 10th-minute goal through Paul McAleer, but Ardboe fought back with a string of points.
