Cork and Galway unchanged for quarter-final battles
Cuthbert has opted to keep faith with the starting 15 which recorded a comfortable seven-point victory over Sligo at Tullamore last Saturday.
Fintan Goold, Damien Cahalane and Daniel Goulding impressed when introduced against the westerners but must again be content with places on the bench. John Hayes returns to the fold, having served his one-match suspension after picking up a red card in the Munster final defeat by Kerry.
Galway manager Alan Mulholland has also selected an unchanged team for their All-Ireland quarter-final with Kerry.
The Tribesmen are returning to the last eight for the first time since 2008 and Mulholland has rewarded the 15 players who started their round four qualifier victory over Tipperary.
Meanwhile, the Kildare team to face Monaghan in Saturday’s qualifier shows three changes from the side that staggered past Clare a fortnight ago. Jason Ryan has drafted Mick Foley in at full-back, with Tomás O’Connor selected at full-forward.
Eoghan O’Flaherty kicked three points when introduced at Cusack Park and Ryan has rewarded the Carbury forward with the No 15 shirt. Emmet Bolton, Gary White and Padraig Fogarty are the three men to drop to the bench.
Monaghan, are unchanged from their Ulster final defeat by Donegal. Monaghan have not won a championship game at Croke Park since 1930, when they beat Kildare in the All-Ireland semi-final by 0-6 to 0-4.
