McCarthy hits out at ‘disgusting’ online abuse of players

Cork selector Ronan McCarthy has described some of the online criticism of the players following their heavy Munster final defeat as "disgusting".

Saturday’s qualifier with Sligo provides them with a chance to cast that 12-point loss to Kerry further into the past.

And for some it could be a step away from the caustic comments made on Twitter about their personal displays in Páirc Uí Chaoimh earlier this month.
