Careers on the line, warns Sheedy

Tipperary’s former All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy has warned that inter-county careers are on the line ahead of the crunch qualifier with Kilkenny or Galway on Saturday week.

Eamon O’Shea’s Tipperary will discover their Thurles opponents following Saturday’s Leinster SHC semi-final replay in Tullamore, with the losers shunted into a Semple Stadium All-Ireland qualifier.

And while Sheedy expressed “huge belief in players and management”, the man who guided the Premier County to Liam MacCarthy Cup glory in 2010 could not play down the significance of the July 5 clash.
