Westmeath advanced to meet Dublin in the semi-final of the Leinster Under-21 hurling championship with a comfortable win over Carlow in Cusack Park, Mullingar, last night.
At the end of a scrappy first quarter, Westmeath led by 0-3 to 0-2. In the 17th minute, Robbie Greville scored a great goal for the home side after he was set up by the outstanding Niall O’Brien.
