Cork’s O’Sullivan sees ‘light at end of tunnel’

Cork defender Conor O’Sullivan is confident of being fit in time for the Munster SHC opener with Waterford on May 25.

O’Sullivan, who turned 25 last month, has not featured at all this year for Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s side as he has been recovering from a groin injury. While the Laya Healthcare employee jokes that he is “having operations just for the sake of it”, he is hopeful of a swift return to full fitness.

“I’d say it’ll be another couple of weeks, hopefully,” he said.
