O’Sullivan, who turned 25 last month, has not featured at all this year for Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s side as he has been recovering from a groin injury. While the Laya Healthcare employee jokes that he is “having operations just for the sake of it”, he is hopeful of a swift return to full fitness.

“I’d say it’ll be another couple of weeks, hopefully,” he said.
