JBM rings the changes for Cork’s long trip north
Eoin Cadogan and Aidan Walsh, as per the hurlers’ agreement with Brian Cuthbert, return to duty with the footballers for their trip to Mayo that same day, while Anthony Nash makes way for Darren McCarthy in goal.
Stephen White replaces Cadogan, debutant Brian Lawton comes in for Walsh and there is also a first start of the season for Brian Hartnett who takes over from Stephen Moylan
Christopher Joyce is in for Shane O’Neill who is on exam leave while Rob O’Shea makes way for captain Pa Cronin in midfield.
Alan Cadogan is not considered as he is currently on duty with the U21 footballers, while Mark Ellis and Luke O’Farrell, who has had surgery on a shoulder injury, are injured.
Tipperary also make six changes from their last outing, their Division 1A defeat to Clare, for Sunday’s away clash with Galway. Padraic Maher, Seamus Callinan, Patrick Maher Conor O’Mahony are among the sextet coming in with the likes of Thomas Stapleton, Kieran Bergin, Jason Forde and Shane Bourke making way.
Kerry makes two personnel alterations from the team that beat Tyrone for Sunday’s Division 1 trip to Newbridge to face Kildare.
Pa Kilkenny takes Shane Enright’s spot at left corner back after replacing him in Killarney last weekend and Paul Geaney, another replacement against Tyrone, is named in Barry John Keane’s position in the full-forward line.
Jonathan Lyne is selected on the bench after recovering from injury, but Killian Young and Kieran Donaghy are not yet considered as they continue their rehab programmes.
