Moran says Kerry still have great expectations despite Gooch setback

Outside expectations of Kerry may have dropped since confirmation of Colm Cooper’s season-ending injury but the players’ high demands of themselves remain the same, says David Moran.

Twice a cruciate victim, the midfielder knows the isolation of the road to recovery that’s ahead of his team-mate.

But from a team perspective, he and the Kerry players have compartmentalised the blow and, as they hope Sunday’s win over Tyrone proves, moved on.
