Hayes out to make most of second coming

John Hayes knows he’s in the last chance saloon of inter-county football and so intends enjoying every second.

On Saturday, the 29-year-old marked his first game in Croke Park since coming on as a late substitute in the 2010 All-Ireland final win over Down, with a handsome 1-3 first half tally.

It was also his first game in a Cork jersey since another cameo against Kerry in Tralee three years ago.
