Finnegan fist breaks Geraldines
Truagh led the Louth men by seven points with just seven minutes remaining after Mark Counihan’s goal early in the second half.
Full-back Nicky Mackin’s 53rd-minute goal brought Geraldines to life in a game which featured four black cards and Jim McEneaney scored the equaliser in the last minute.
With Geraldines straight back on the hunt for the winner, the attack broke down and Daniel Finnegan fisted home a goal to ensure Truagh survived the late onslaught.
