Kerrigan turns on the style for Derry

Momentum swung in Derry’s favour when St Mary’s wing-back Michael Hynes had to be stretchered off with a serious knee injury.

Barely 90 seconds later, Kerrigan had his second goal in four days as he aided the Oak Leafers into a 1-7 to 0-7 interval lead.

The Claudy man finished with 1-7 as the strength of Derry’s bench, most notably with Fergal Doherty and Enda Lynn, saw them through.
