Mitchelstown have received a boost with the news that former Cork manager Billy Morgan could be involved with their intermediate team in 2014.

Mitchelstown in line for Morgan boost

Larry Tompkins, who served at the helm for the past three seasons, decided to step down after leading Mitchelstown to this year’s county JAFC title and club officials have approached Morgan to lead their intermediate assault.

Morgan is the manager of the UCC Sigerson Cup team and is also likely to continue as a selector with Nemo Rangers’ premier intermediate outfit.
