Youth development camps rescheduled as club fixtures take precedence in Cork

Six week-long camps catering for players from U13 to U17 took place from October 2012 to August 2013, but this has been reduced to four for the forthcoming season to ease the congestion of club schedules, it was revealed at last night’s launch of the Rebel Óg master fixtures plan.

The four camps coinciding with the school holidays — Halloween, Christmas, Mid-term and Easter — will go ahead as planned, but the two camps which took place through June and August this summer have been removed from the programme.
