Crokes claim Twitter account was hacked

Dr Crokes officials moved quickly last night to distance themselves from a tweet insulting the referee of yesterday’s Munster final.

At 3.24pm, just minutes after Dr Crokes’ thrilling one-point win (0-13 to 0-12) the official account of the Killarney side (@drcrokesgaa) — which has over 3,000 followers — tweeted: “Are Munster Council taking the piss appointing that ref#muppet from Cork.”

The Dr. Crokes Club would like to officially disassociate ourselves from the previous comment made regarding the referee
